Coach John Coughlin has added three more players to his squad ahead of Saturday’s visit to Berwick Rangers.
Striker Nico Gibson and midfielders Scott Maxwell and Gary Pettigrew have all signed deals until the opening of the winter transfer window.
They all impressed the coaches in a closed-door friendly against Maryhill Juniors earlier in the week.
Nico Grant joins the club after being released by SPL giants Aberdeen in the summer. The 6’2″ striker had been at Pittodrie since he was a schoolboy and is now looking to make his way in the game again. He can operate through the middle or out on the left wing.
Scott spent last season playing junior at Dalkeith Thistle and was on trial at Berwick Rangers during pre-season but failed to win a contract at Shielfield Park. He had been invited in to training by coach John Coughlin and showed up well enough to clinch a deal.
Gary was with the club last season and played in a number of Reserve League Cup games for Shire as he attempted to make a comeback from injury which he has now completed. He was previously with Morton.
We welcome all three players to the club.
